A Workout For Car And Motorcycle Racers: Using The Success Laws
Previoulsy I wrote a series of articles talking about the 7 laws of success for the 21st century as put forth by reknowned success coach Brian Tracy. I talked about the laws one by one and a little about the kinship of each to my Racers Workout, a unique specialized physical training program for car and motorcycle racers. The idea is simple. To take what I have developed and discovered in my years of training elite racers like Joey Saldana of sprint cars, and NASCAR Champion Kasey Kahne and put it together into a comprehensive package of physical and mental peak performance tools for all drivers.
Looking at the relationship between Brian’s 21st century laws of success and the nuts and bolts of the workout approach of Racers Workout, there is a lot I am excited about. The first law is that a person must get better for his circumstances in life to get better. A racer who buys Racers Workout will have to make the committment to first seeing their weaknesses honestly and then pledge to get better so his results will get better. The second law is that anything worth doing well is worth doing poorly at first. I want my students to understand that to make real quantum leap gains in their physical and mental abilites to win at racing, they must be prepared to be uncomfortable and to feel and look foolish. The 3rd law says that it doesn’t matter where we were, it only really matters where we are going. So let’s get to work and make positive change! Who cares about the past.
Law four says that we must have fully developed available options to be free. I will see to it that you are physically versatile enough to handle any driving situation and condition and mentally strong enough to conquer any life condition. Law five says that within every failure there are the seeds for an even greater success. We will take your past disappointments and put them to work for your success by simply changing basic habits of thought and action.
Laws six and seven are my two favorites because it is about empowering the two things you must master for success in racing or anything else: the mind and the body.I will help you put together an idealized vision of your body outcome and racing success by stripping away the limits in your mind. At the same time, we will reinforce the concept that in this world, you can do anything you must to become who you want to be. I look forward to you joining me on the ride.
